Sync or Swim is a small tale with enormous insight on ways you can empower, engage, and energize employees or volunteers facing discouragement or cynicism. Sam, the new CEO, was ready to hit the ground running. But his team members—and Mother Nature—had other plans. Sep 22, 2020 Multi Instance Sync. With the Multi-instance Sync, you can do even more in ODIN: Valhalla Rising. Sync the action of the main instance and repeat them in real time for all other instances. Sync and sit back, let the game progress unfold. Juxtaposing scenes that are intense and emotional, uplifting and mesmerizing, quirky and entertaining, Sync or Swim is the first-ever behind the scenes documentary about the making of the U.S. Olympic Synchronized Swimming Team.
The first time you set up syncing, you must connect your device to your Mac using a USB or USB-C cable. After you connect the device, the device icon appears in the Finder sidebar and selecting the icon displays syncing options. You then select which items to sync.
The iMessages should sync if the devices are both On.
This is irrespective if one is connected to the Carrier and the other to a WiFi or Ethernet to a Network.
Text Forwarding/SMS to Mac requires that the iPhone and the Mac are on the same LAN.
This tends to mean the iPhone has to join the Hotel network as well as the Mac.
The iMessages should still arrive on the Mac even if the iPhone number is deselected as the sync to the Apple ID should cover it.
I have not seen anyone post about using an iPhone as it's own Hotspot for this which might effect the data rate the Mac is getting and it then may not get them.
If...
The iPhone > Settings > Send and Receive has the Number unticked (it happens sometimes) then the number will eventually de-register from the iMessages server.
This will then unlink from the Apple ID. Strangely it seems the iPhone works the Apple ID as an alternative rather that a sync which means it gets the iMessages but the sync is actually broken so the Mac gets nothing.
If you are getting new iMessages on the Mac then there is no way to 'recover' the missing iMessages.
