It is developed by Access Games and published by Rising Star Games. The story is set in the fictional, rural town of Greenvale and it is following FBI Special Agent York Morgan. He is investigating the murder of an eighteen-year-old woman.

Deadly Premonition is set in an open world environment and played from an over-the shoulder third-person perspective. Your objective is to guide your character while he investigates the identity of Raincoat Killer, the responsible for a murder in Greenvale. Your character gets in-game money for finishing levels and for minor events like changing suits. But you will see he can be fined for poor performance like wearing dirty clothes. Keep in mind he requires food and sleep at regular intervals. There are gauges measuring his hunger and need for sleep, too.
Borderlands 2, developed by Gearbox Studios and published by 2K Games is an action, First-Person shooter and RPG (Role Playing Game) video game available to play on PC (Microsoft Windows), Mac OS X, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vista, Linux and Xbox 360.
In Deadly Premonition MacBook Version, York is able to explore Greenvale on foot, by car or by using a special item you obtained by completing a side quest. For car you need fuel and you must purchase it and also be careful with damage. You have a specific time frame for investigating sites and while interviewing non-player characters. If you miss the timeslot you can try again during the next day without penalty. About non-player character we can say they have own specific routines and travel around town in their own business.
